    Description
    • Responsible to implement effective marketing plan and strategies for the respective markets (Malaysia and Singapore)
    • Managing the Market Intelligence System which includes constantly monitor and keep abreast of customer/market requirements and competitors' movement & offerings.
    • Responsible for information gathering and market intelligence, which also includes economic-related information ie. Construction activity and outlook, geographical movement, market trends in building materials, construction rules and regulation, import/export of plasterboard and activities by all relevant private and public organisations in the construction industry.
    • Managing the communications strategy and actively communicating the brand message to stakeholders. To also instill brand awareness amongst stakeholders.
    • Identify and develop new products and systems in accordance with market's needs and developing brand awareness campaign.
    • Close monitoring of products and systems qualitative and quantitative performance.
    • Develop strategic product positioning and segmentation to support PULL sales.
    • Develop and manage an effective pricing strategy for products and systems.
    • Develop and implement effective communication activities/tools to support the sales of products and systems.
    • Analyze business trends and consumer insights to deliver effective marketing campaigns to achieve business objectives and revenue targets
    • Manage and control A&P budget to achieve optimum return on investment.
    • Liaising with building authorities, industry professional bodies and other professional stakeholders.
    • To ensure up-to-date with relevant authorities with regards to the changes in the regulations and standards and to ensure business comply with the changes in the regulations and standards.
    • Involvement in other A&P activities.
    • Carry out related job duties as required.
    • Ad hoc task assigned by management

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Degree in Marketing, Management, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Business Administration or its equivalent
    • Good interpersonal and excellent oral and written English communication skills.
    • Able to work independently and also a team player
    • Creative, proactive, aggressive and analytical with pleasant attitude
    • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, confident and outgoing
    • Possess good interpersonal skills and able to establish productive relationships with people at all levels
    • Eye for detail, highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
    • At least 3-5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Building Materials Industry candidates will be an added advantage
    • Good networking and contacts with Architects, Designers, Developers, Contactors and any other related to Building Materials Industry will be an added advantage
    • Fluency in Chinese/Mandarin, is a must
    • Willing to be based in Port Klang
