    Description

    We are actively seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Finance to join our team at a Multinational Organization (MNC), a newly established personal care products manufacturing startup located in Kulai, Johor. As we embark on this exciting new venture, we are specifically looking for an individual fluent in both spoken and written Chinese and preferably with experience working in manufacturing companies. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, budgeting, and financial analysis. For more information about the company, please visit

    Job Responsibilities:

    1. Financial Planning and Analysis:

    • Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
    • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
    • Monitor and report on financial performance against budgetary goals.

    2. Accounting and Bookkeeping:

    • Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
    • Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.

    3. Financial Reporting:

    • Prepare and analyze financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

    4. Cash Flow Management:

    • Manage cash flow and liquidity to support operational needs.
    • Implement strategies to optimize working capital efficiency.

    5. Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and ensure compliance.
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective controls.

    6. Collaboration:

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and insights.
    • Provide financial guidance and support to department heads.

    7. Audit Support:

    • Facilitate external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
    • Implement audit recommendations to improve financial processes.

    Requirement:

    • Bachelor's Degree and/or professional qualifications in Accounting, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent, with 3 years' experience in financial accounting, preferably in manufacturing companies.
    • Required skill: Hands-on with accounting software (SQL, UBS, AutoCount and ERP), good Microsoft application knowledge (Microsoft excel & word).
    • Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and accounting standards.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficient in (speak and read) Chinese, English and Bahasa.
    • Location: Johor Bahru. Willing to be based or relocate to Johor may apply.
    • Immediate availability preferred.
