- Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor and report on financial performance against budgetary goals.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Manage cash flow and liquidity to support operational needs.
- Implement strategies to optimize working capital efficiency.
- Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and ensure compliance.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective controls.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and insights.
- Provide financial guidance and support to department heads.
- Facilitate external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Implement audit recommendations to improve financial processes.
- Bachelor's Degree and/or professional qualifications in Accounting, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent, with 3 years' experience in financial accounting, preferably in manufacturing companies.
- Required skill: Hands-on with accounting software (SQL, UBS, AutoCount and ERP), good Microsoft application knowledge (Microsoft excel & word).
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in (speak and read) Chinese, English and Bahasa.
- Location: Johor Bahru. Willing to be based or relocate to Johor may apply.
