    Description

    Integral member of FX risk-taking team at Malaysia's top FX House, ranked #1 by BNM. The individual will be entrusted with driving the FX franchise within CIMB Group, collaboratively tasked with shaping the business from end to end whilst managing the Bank's FX exposure.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Execute FX vanilla and exotic transactions in MYR and other key currency pairs to meet client needs and achieve revenue targets.
    • Manage trading positions in response to market dynamics to effectively minimize market and counterparty risks.
    • Monitor global macroeconomic and geopolitical developments to identify trading opportunities and assess market risks. Utilize technical analysis and market indicators to make informed trading decisions.
    • Prepare daily and periodic reports on trading activities, P&L performance and market trends. Conduct post-trade analysis to evaluate trading strategies and identify areas for improvement.
    • Utilize trading platforms and electronic trading tools effectively to execute trades efficiently and optimize workflow processes. Stay updated on technological advancements in the FX trading industry and leverage innovative solutions to enhance trading capabilities.
    • Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and provide timely execution of FX transactions.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Adhere to best practices and industry standards to maintain the bank's reputation and integrity.

    Key Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business / Finance / Engineering / Economics or a related field.
    • Applicant must possess a PPKM License.
    • Minimum 3 years in FX spot / derivatives trading within Treasury department of an established bank.
