    Description

    We are looking for a Product Consultant who have experience in product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle including gathering and prioritizing customer requirements, defining the product vision working closely with sales, marketing, development and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. If you are passionate in driving and developing products, you are the right candidate we are looking for:

    What should you have

    • Have strong interest in product development strategy
    • Strong knowledge and end-to-end experience in maritime industry
    • Ability to define/develop Product Roadmap Strategy
    • Have good knowledge in product positioning in the market versus competition (Market analysis)
    • Ability to assist in Product Strategies Plan as set in line with organizational goals
    • Regularly monitor and analyze competitors' product to attain market position
    • Research and introduce new technologies aligned with new product offerings
    • Ability to understand and assist in product delivery, implementation and support
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions
    • Experience managing client relationships and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively

    What do you need to qualify

    • Degree in Marine Nautical science and/or Marine Engineering
    • Minimum 7 – 8 years relevant working experience in maritime software / Maintenance / Dry Docking Software Management
    • Technical background and experience in Merchant shipping and/or Oil and Gas Industry
    • Practical and / or Technical knowledge of maritime ERP software solution is an added advantage
    • Experience as auditor or inspector /ship superintendent will be an added advantage
    • Overseas travelling is mandatory

    • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to various stakeholders, including clients, team members, and executives, both verbally and in writing
    • Problem-Solving: Aptitude for identifying and analyzing problems, as well as proposing and implementing effective solutions
    • Consultative Selling: Skill in engaging with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and position products as solutions that add value to their business
    • Project Management: Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including planning, coordination, and execution, to ensure successful outcomes
    • Data Analysis: Proficiency in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform decision-making and optimize product performance
    • Client Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their goals, providing exceptional service, and anticipating their needs
    • Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of technical concepts related to the product or industry, enabling effective communication with technical teams and troubleshooting customer issues
    • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, market conditions, and client requirements, while remaining focused on delivering results.
    • Team Collaboration: Capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, development, and support, to drive product success.
