    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with various departments to understand their financial needs and objectives.
    • Provide financial guidance and support to departmental heads to ensure effective cost management.
    • Proactively provide business insights and analysis to profitability and operating efficiencies of business channel and business center.
    • Evaluate current and past financial data to identify trends and analyse business performance.
    • Analyse operating expenses forecast/ budget vs actual and provide regular updates to management.
    • Assist in preparation of monthly management report, highlighting key performance metrics.
    • Assist in preparation of strategic plans, annual budget and quarterly forecasts including establishing assumptions, analysis and presentation preparation review and analysis.
    • Undertake ad-hoc financial analysis as requested by senior management.

    Requirements:

    • Degree in accountancy or ACCA/CIMA/Chartered Accountant and have at least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the commercial finance/business analysis experience in the retail/FMCG industry.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, finance and accounting software, e.g. SAP, Qlik Sense and any EPM.
    • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
    • A self-driven, independent individual who enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills to foster effective cross-functional collaboration.
