    Sr System Administrator (Windows Platform & AD)

    Important Information

    Experience: 7+ years

    Job Summary

  • 7+ years of experience directly related to Windows System Administration Windows server 2008/2012/2016/2019/2022 and Windows 10/11 Desktop support with increasing responsibilities administering client/server applications.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Windows Clustering and Active Directory administration, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, File services, DNS, researching event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical performance issues. Manage user accounts, group membership and GPOs for the AD domain
  • Experience in the following areas: Patch Management, Anti-Virus, Symantec Endpoint/MacAfee, OS Upgrades
  • Experience in Microsoft cloud technology administration and support for below areas:
  • Office 365 / Azure AD / Exchange Online
  • Proficiency with VMWare - administrators should have considerable experience with vSphere/ESXI and vCenter.
  • Experience with the administration of window or ESXI systems with scripting and infrastructure automation software and procedures.
  • Experience with server hardware setup, configuration, support, and maintenance

    • Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of two industry recognized certifications in Microsoft technologies; minimum of 5 years' experience in VMWare.
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) / Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
  • > 7 years of work experience administering Windows Server Environments, Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure., O365, Exchange, Email Archiving, File Services, network, security and end user system productivity technology.
  • > 3 years of configuring VMWare ESX/vCenter 6.5/ 6.7/ 7.0/8.0
  • > 3 years of experience administering SAN technologies.
  • > 3 years of experience with providing Tier 3 technical support to site administrators when integration issues arise.
  • Hands-on experience in a multitude of Microsoft products including, but not limited to, Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, SAN storage experience or similar flash or tiered SAN technologies.
  • Microsoft and VMWare certifications.
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills; strong interpersonal skills; basic project management course; proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and database principles.
