Description

• Use the Cadence Virtuoso Software Suite and Cadence-SKILL language to program and maintain custom scripts and extensions for our Analog&Mixed-Signal (AMS) design tools.
• Maintain and extend our in-house software tools for the automated design of AMS circuits. These tools are implemented in Cadence SKILL, Perl, Python, JavaScript, and C/C++.
• Improve all existing software modules. This includes component testing, and the analysis, refactoring and maintenance of existing code.
• Integrate new methods and software tooling into our established design flow.
• Create training material. Train and support our worldwide designer community to effectively use both vendor and in-house AMS design tools.
• Write technical documents. Strive for quality by complying with all relevant quality assurance processes.
• Communicate and Collaborate with our international analog design automation team to guarantee the success of all the above activities.

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or a similar topic.
• At least 3 years of work experience in software design and implementation related to AMS Design.
• Experience in scripting for electrical design automation (EDA)applications (Perl, Python JavaScript, and Cadence-SKILL is required, as well as C/C++).
• Knowledge of the Cadence Virtuoso analog design environment (experience with analog mixed signal design and physical layout synthesis is desired).
• Experience in professional software development, or algorithms for optimization and machine learning is an advantage.
• Familiar with the Unix/Linux operating system (e.g. shell scripting and basic tools) and LSF server farms.
• Fluent in English.
