    Description

    Purpose of Job

    To provide support and assistance to the Internal Audit (IA) in performing the following

    duties:

    1. To help perform and promote a broad range of value-added IA services.
    2. To coordinate the overall follow-up and monitoring work (where relevant) for the unit.

    Key Outputs

    1. Support the Unit to meet and achieve the objectives and purpose as included in the unit work plan.
    2. Assist the IA Team to follow up and close all audit findings.
    3. Update and upload IA related materials and reports to the IA repository on the Google Drive.

    Major Activities

    1. Assist in the audit planning, audit programme and carry out the IA activities in terms of field audit work and audit follow-ups and other administrative work that includes arranging logistics and scheduling the timetable.
    2. Maintain internal control documentation for the assignment including narratives, process and data flows, and other supporting work papers.
    3. Assist in the preparation of audit reports and presentation to the management on the audit findings and recommendations.
    4. Updates IA database.
    5. Exercise professional skepticism, judgment and adhere to the code of ethics while on engagements
    6. The function may also carry out special reviews or assignments where requested by the Head of IA.

    Specifications

    1. A graduate with a basic Bachelor's degree, preferably in any Financial/IT discipline.
    2. Must be able to work with minimal supervision with at least 1-2 years working experience preferably in an audit/financial/technological background. Experience from the big 4 audit Firms will be an added advantage.
    3. Must have analytical experience, paying attention to details, well organized and exercise sound judgement in audit findings.
    4. Must be computer literate and have the ability to use appropriate technology for presentation to stakeholders.
    5. Excellent written and oral skills in English and Bahasa are an added advantage.
    6. Good interpersonal skills with versatile ability to work in a team.
    7. Good understanding of current issues especially having knowledge on environmental and corporate will be an added advantage.
    8. Willing to travel as and when needed.

    Salary Range

    RM3,000 - RM3,600 (vary depending on education level & experience)
