    Responsibilities

    As a Sales Manager - Exhibitions, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for our portfolios. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing exhibitors from within these industries, fostering strong relationships, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
    • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets for assigned exhibition(s).
    • Identify and actively prospect potential exhibitors, including manufacturers, suppliers, service providers, and other relevant businesses within the target industries.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to maximize exhibitor retention and repeat business.
    • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to create compelling sales collateral, promotional materials, and campaigns to generate leads and increase awareness of our exhibitions.
    • Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends, competitive analysis, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
    • Work alongside the Event Manager / Director and have input on the overall sales strategy of the event, whilst managing your own clients.
    • Liaise with the Event Manager / Director in relation to key high value new customers, and sales operations with regards to available spots on the floor plan.
    • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network, promote our exhibitions, and generate new leads.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to existing and prospective clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
    • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations/proposals to key decision-makers, showcasing the value and benefits of participating in our exhibition(s), negotiate contracts, and close deals.
    • Prepare regular reports timely and provide recommendations for improvement.
    • Work collaboratively with internal teams, including operations, logistics, and finance, to ensure successful execution and delivery of the exhibitions.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 5 years' experience in Sales.
    • Proven experience in exhibition sales or B2B sales preferrable within the energy and/or food & beverage industries.
    • Strong understanding of the energy and food & beverage sectors, including key players, market trends, and challenges.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with English as the key language.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
    • Ability to excite and understand customers pain points to deliver innovative and solution orientated proposals, in turn maximising revenue of both existing customers and new business.
    • Self-motivated and driven with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
    • Willingness to travel to industry events and exhibitions as required.
