    Description

    The Software Tester is responsible for supporting software testing activities of the assigned projects. Ultimately, you will be coordinating testing activities in addressing the organization's operational requirements, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards, as well as in aligned with departmental goals and objectives.

    You will be responsible to:

    • Collaborate with developers and users to analyze user stories/requirements for validity and feasibility.
    • Understand project factors that drive the test priorities and test approaches.
    • Use established techniques for designing tests at all levels (system, integration, and regression).
    • Interpret and execute tests from given test specifications, before presenting the test results.
    • Identify test conditions and features to be tested, developing test scenarios and documentation.
    • Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies.
    • Prepare clear and concise defect reports that are easily understandable.
    • Assist with the selection and implementation process of testing tools.
    • Be involved in multiple projects with different deadlines.

    To be successful for the role:

    • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other equivalent fields.
    • Minimum 2 years of quality assurance (QA) work experience in the IT industry.
    • Experience in defining test cases, developing and maintaining test scripts for business specifications
    • Software proficiency in C# .NET framework, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, Web Services, or Web APIs.
    • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is strongly preferred.
