    Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior PHP Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior PHP Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and efficient backend solutions for our web applications. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and exceed user expectations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend solutions using PHP and related technologies.
    • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
    • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate frontend components with backend logic.
    • Work closely with managers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications and implementation plans.
    • Optimize application performance and scalability through code optimization, caching mechanisms, and database tuning.
    • Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users or identified during testing phases.
    • Implement security best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our applications and data.
    • Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in backend development.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a PHP Backend Developer, with at least 5 years of experience in developing backend solutions for web applications.
    • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
    • Strong proficiency in PHP, with a deep understanding of its core principles and ecosystem.
    • Experience with modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
    • Proficiency in database design and SQL, with experience working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases.
    • Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
    • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
    • Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) methodologies.
    • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS is a plus.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
