    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and maintain Web Apps of ASTRO Digital Products to serve millions of monthly users. Build reusable code and libraries in Typescript for future use.
  • Ensure testability of the code by writing unit test cases with Jest.
  • Develop new user-facing features with React JS & NextJS and Zustand as state management.
  • Create story in for every single UI components.
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Set up the monitoring and recovery solutions so that web apps stay within parameters to deliver a wonderful experience to the Customers.
  • Work within the Digital Ecosystem Engineering team, apply code quality practices (code reviews, merging, unit testing) and contribute to the design and operational practices of the team.
  • Keep abreast of the latest and emerging technologies.

    • Qualifications:

  • 3+ Work experience as a web developer, JavaScript expert or front-end engineer
  • Familiar with UI layouts, HTML, CSS, SASS, Bootstrap, and the CSS GRID system
  • Excellent knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices and techniques
  • Prior experience and eager to learn Typescript
  • Understand to write testable code and familiar with Unit Testing tools like Jest.
  • Proficient with JavaScript libraries, especially React JS & NextJS. Prior experience with other libraries such as AngularJS and no code web development services likeWebflow will be a plus.
  • Understanding of the entire web development process, with an emphasis on front end design and development.
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
  • Fluent in Git and collaborative source code managing practices.
  • Must have a good understanding and experience of seamless CI/CD end to end to achieve one-click delivery.
  • Exposure to Agile Methodologies, especially Scrum.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, experienced with multi-cultural environments.
