- Monitor receipt of all required credit documentation and security within 90 days of deal closing for Bilateral/ RBC agented Deals
- Obtain Legal Opinions where RBC is acting as a participant within 30 days of deal closing
- Provide support to Documentation and Security Officer (DSO) by conducting corporate searches, registrations and renewals within established guidelines and timelines
- Follow for Property and Liability Insurance renewals with Insurance Brokers
- Upon deal closing, perform secondary review to confirm all documents related to Flood Insurance & Appraisals are received and uploaded to the document Management System (DMS)
- Process Cross-Platform Transfer requests promptly on official transfer date and Account Manager Changes
- Review exception Reports generated from BCRMS and take appropriate action to ensure that CCMS and BCRMS are aligned (daily)
- Respond to requests for transactions requiring input into BCRMS systems within 24 hours of receipt
- SRF allocation for Agency and Trade
- Ensure credit documentation is accounted for and reviewed for Non-Payment Insurance (NPI), Public Sector, Trading Only, Subsidiary Banking and Securitization Single Names
- Accurately report overtime hours to Payroll and ensure overtime is paid to the employee on the pay day following the pay period during which the work was performed
- Identify and address data integrity issues within CCMS, DMS and BCRMS.
- Obtain Registrations and Documentation from eCM for clients transferring to CCG/CM from CFS
- Complete Bank/ Audit Confirmations in a timely manner

Job Summary
•Responsible for the end to end verification, monitoring and safekeeping of collateral granted in support of the Capital Markets Lending Loan Book. The Documentation and Securities officer (DSO) works closely with other groups within Capital Markets and the Bank to ensure documentation received is valid, binding and enforceable in all relevant jurisdictions and identifies/rectifies deficiencies
•Responsible for ensuring loan integrity and compliance against bank policies and loan credit agreement.
•The competence with which the incumbent's duties are carried out has a major impact on the credibility of the department, both within and outside the Bank. Failure to perform in an efficient and competent manner can not only jeopardize the Bank's reputation, but can also result in significant material losses.
•The incumbent must display a clear understanding of the administrative aspects of each assigned deal in order to resolve the various requests for interpretation and action that arise daily.
