    Overview

    Our client is a world-renowned fintech company. They are looking to hire a legal assistant to join their team.

    Job Title

    Legal Assistant (Fintech)

    Working Experience

    LLB/Bachelor of Law

    Responsibilities

    Contract Review

    (i) reviewing and drafting commercial contracts;

    (ii) arranging for execution of contracts; and

    (iii) assisting with other contracts-related administrative matters (eg. contract management and internal trackers);

    Corporate Secretarial

    (i) arranging for quarterly board of directors (BOD) meetings;

    (ii) coordinating with internal teams on papers to be submitted to BOD;

    (iii) attending and taking minutes for BOD meetings; and

    (iv) liaising with the external company secretary and attending to all invoicing and budget approvals;

    Others

    (i)Provide full legal administrative support to the legal team

    (ii)Administer and maintain databases of legal documents and industry-specific regulations

    (iii)Liaise with other departments, overseas counterparts, and external parties where necessary

    (iv)Other related tasks assigned from time to time

    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB)

    -2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, with specific experience in contract review and drafting.

    -Strong understanding of contract law principles and legal terminology.

    -Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    This position is only open to Malaysian citizens.
