- Ensure compliance routes are completed and updated as needed
- HSE related communication including training, safety alerts and production review meetings
- Prepare HSE related training material
- Lead/participate in Incident Investigation facilitating root cause analysis and proper corrective and preventative actions
- Participate in/lead plant emergency response teams
- Conduct hazard assessments of equipment/jobs to ensure they meet all applicable requirements
- Develop/revise HSE related policies/procedures for the plant and drive implementation
- Lead safety audits of key program areas to ensure compliance with regulatory and Norms
- Conducts formal reviews of new equipment, equipment modifications, or process changes
- Maintain documentation to meet Corporate and regulatory requirements
- Provide leadership and guidance to the plant safety teams
- Interact with state and federal agencies and consultants to ensure compliance with RBA, BCMS, OSHA, EPA and other regulatory agencies' requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a Safety or Environmental support role in a warehousing, manufacturing, or industrial environment - OR - High School or Diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of experience in a Safety or Environmental support role in a warehousing, manufacturing, or industrial environment
- Valid Driver's License
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Registered SSS - Site Safety Supervisor @ Construction
- Knowledge of regulatory bodies and standards (OSHA, EPA, ISO, RCRA, BCMS & RBA etc.)
- Ability to work independently and with a team

Job DescriptionResponsible for the implementation, administration, interpretation, and enforcement of safety & environmental requirements including plant, Corporate, local, state and federal regulations. Establish safety & environmental standards based on risk/hazard analysis to meet regulatory requirements, BCMS, RBA and HSE management systems (ISO 14001 and ISO Review of HSE incidents for root cause and establishment of corrective and preventative actions.
