    Description
    A recruiter is seeking an Assistant Vice President | Vice President, Equity Capital Markets.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Execution of all equity capital markets deals, which include IPO, private placement, rights issue, M&A etc.
    • Provide leadership and support to team members in undertaking the execution of all equity capital markets transactions.
    • Prepare and review all relevant information, documentation, presentation, agreements and marketing materials for placement and underwriting transactions.
    • Liaise and coordinate the entire placement and underwriting process with corporate clients, investors, other professionals and internal parties.
    • Assist in deal origination and preparing pitches for equity fund raising opportunities.
    • Develop and maintain good relationships with buy side funds and high net worth individuals to facilitate the placement of the Bank's equity-linked products.
    • Comply with all relevant legal, regulatory and internal requirements.

    Job Requirements

    • Possess Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Banking, Finance, Economics or any other equivalent.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in equity research, corporate finance, fund management, institutional sales or corporate banking in capital markets, banking/financial services, accounting or legal industry.
    • Possession of CFA, ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or any other related professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
    • Competent knowledge of Malaysia corporate legislation and relevant legal, financial and regulatory requirements.
    • Well-versed in Malaysia's capital markets activities and development.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Bloomberg.
    • Strong analytical, financial modelling and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent oratory and business presentation skills.
