    About the job Assistant Data Governance and Quality Analyst

    JOB OVERVIEW

    The job purpose is to assist in the formation and execution of data governance framework, policies, and practice guides. The incumbent will focus on establishing and ensuring adherence to the data governance framework, policies, and practice guides at organization level to support the data centric agenda of the company and have the highest integrity in timely manner.

    Make sure data movement within Zoho system is readily analyzed in timely manner. Produce SOPs, Policies & Training for the Nasty staffs to create data driven awareness. Understand inter-department pain & bridging the gap with simplified process. Document & maintain any process flow & automation

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Develop data quality metrics for data that are used for Regulatory / Internal Reporting.
    • Perform regular data quality assessments and trend analysis from Zoho system.
    • Prepare progress status and follow up on actions items regarding the data quality issues.
    • Assist the team lead to provide periodic data governance briefing and updates to data stewards on data awareness, data domains & ownership, roles & responsibilities and data quality issues and controls.
    • Conduct and participate in regular meetings to follow up on the action plan and resolution regarding data issues.
    • Assist in defining data lineage, data taxonomy, data dictionary and data glossary.
    • Assist in implementation of data catalog.
    • Create/ Review departmental Policy, Process or Procedure documentation.
    • To simplify workflow of staffs without compromising data integrity.
    • Reduce decision making time with accuracy, thoroughly and timely.
    JOB REQUIREMENTS:
    • Diploma/ Degree in Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Accounting, Information System
    • Minimum of 1 year experience in related fields.
    • Can work with minimal supervision and familiar with tender process.
    • Process and data driven attitude
    • Willing to learn, explore new tools, systems and tech savvy
    • Highest MS Excel, Google Sheet proficiency.
    • Familiar with json, javascript, API, https, webhooks, SWL query and database management.
