- As the Manufacturing Director your primary responsibility will be to oversee the entire manufacturing process, ensuring that our products are produced efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
- You will play a pivotal role in shaping the manufacturing culture, emphasizing continuous improvement, innovation, and employee engagement.
- Leadership and Culture Building: Lead a team of over 2,000 employees, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. Develop strategies to enhance employee engagement and job satisfaction.
- Operational Excellence: Drive operational efficiency and effectiveness. Oversee the implementation of advanced manufacturing techniques to increase output and reduce waste. Ensure optimal equipment effectiveness (OEE) and high product yield.
- Safety and Compliance: Champion a safety-first culture. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards in the manufacturing process.
- Innovation and Process Improvement: Spearhead initiatives to incorporate the latest technological advancements in medical device manufacturing. Encourage a culture of innovation and support projects that aim to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans to meet production targets and company objectives. Collaborate with other departments to align manufacturing goals with overall business strategies.
- Budget and Resource Management: Oversee the manufacturing budget, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of resources. Implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality or safety.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all manufactured products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations. Implement robust quality control systems and continuous monitoring processes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies. Ensure transparent communication and build strong relationships to support business objectives.
