    The candidate is expected to perform daily cash management activities, accounting entries, reconciliations and participate in ad hoc requests/projects.
    • Cash management activitie
    • Perform daily cash management activities of the Company which include preparation of daily cash flow reports and managing the daily fund transfers among the various bank accounts held with financial institutions.
    • Assist supervisors on the opening of bank accounts, the setup of internet banking for balance enquiry, bank statement download, fund transfer, etc.
    • Perform and implement key controls in daily cash management cycle. Ensure key finance related requirements are met.
    • Perform month end closing.
    • General accounting
    • Prepare journal vouchers for cash flow related entries including fund transfer, bank charges, etc.
    • Monitor and review reconciliation of sub ledger to general ledger
    • Perform bank reconciliations, control account maintenance and inter-fund administration.
    • Reconciling items are expected to be cleared on regular basis.
    • Risk management and procedures
    • Participation in establishing and/or maintaining risk management practices within the department, in line with the various risk and compliance guidelines as released by the corresponding section in the Company.
    • Continuously support in process workflow improvement initiatives.
    • Provide support for ad hoc requests and projects
    • Perform checking and verification on ad hoc queries from various stakeholders.
    • Perform testing in projects related to treasury and cash management.
    • Liaise with stakeholder on issues relating to cash management matter.
    • Other ad-hoc activities deemed necessary to support Finance functions.
    • As and when required, the candidate may be required to provide support to other functions within the Finance division. Such requests would be initially assessed for its appropriateness by the management and would be of a nature such that no unreasonable demands are made of the candidate, and with expectations that is reasonable given the circumstances.
