    Description

    We are looking for a Tech Lead (Billing & Dunning) based in our Malaysian (KL) office, Digital Labs.

    The Tech Lead (Billing & Dunning) is a role covering entire billing area within Telecommunication Company. The key objective of the role is to setup billing processes and configure/change configuration within billing application, to tailor the billing activities and processes to meet business user requirements.

    Job Responsibilities

    • With strong understanding of telecommunication processes, take the ownership of billing process, product configuration, invoice formatting, payment process, dunning process, journal process.
    • Manage and mentor a team of billing specialists, ensuring high performance and collaboration.
    • Participate in discovery, clarification and solutioning sessions with product owners, internal teams, software and delivery partners to analyse business requirement, translate business requirement into detailed software configuration requirement.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that solutions meet the needs of the business from end to end.
    • Able to drive the team for task completion in timely manner.
    • Ensuring system security, Data Governance and audit are aligned with M1 policies.
    • Support user verification enquiries and arrange for clarifications with software partners
    • Ensure production post-deployment verifications and support are performed.
    • Provide guidance to team members, to support Finance users on verifications of production bills, billing, dunning, journal and financial related items.
    • Work with software and delivery partners to ensure SLA is met
    • Monitor and follow-up on initiatives, enhancements, production issues and fixes.
    • Document and maintain technical design specifications.

    Job Requirements

    • Degree in Computer Science with more than 10 years of relevant working experience in Information Technology or related discipline
    • More than 5 year's working experience in Telco industry, with knowledge of CRM, billing, dunning , Provisioning is an advantage
    • Broad domain expertise in telecommunication industry and billing systems is important to this role.
    • Hands-on experience performing development, application testing activities, handling production incidents and user queries.
    • Experience in analysing and solving complex technical challenges within an Agile team environment.
    • Experience with cloud-based environment, Javascript, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Azure functions, Structured Query Language (SQL) and report design tools
    • Familiar with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) or any similar tools.
    • Highly energetic, motivated team player, able to work under tight timelines and pressure to participate in digital transformation journey
    • Willing to learn, organised, meticulous, and able to work independently with good interpersonal, written and communication skills.
