  • Overseeing the organisation's financial activities, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, and providing strategic financial insights to support our business objectives.
  • Participate in corporate exercises such as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, or divestitures, providing financial analysis and due diligence support.
  • Lead or contribute to feasibility studies for potential property development projects, assessing financial viability and risk.
  • Analyze market trends, economic factors, and financial models to determine the feasibility and profitability of new projects.
  • Prepare comprehensive feasibility reports for senior management's consideration, including financial projections and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with the CFO to raise capital for property development projects through various financing mechanisms such as debt, equity, or syndication.
  • Develop and monitor detailed cash flow against forecasts for ongoing property development projects.
  • Assist in the development of cash flow optimization strategies to ensure adequate liquidity for project milestones.
  • Led the preparation of annual financial accounts, coordinating with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure smooth and timely completion. about the manager/team Reporting to the Group CFO, you will manage a team of 5. skills & experience required
  • Local Malaysian with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting. ACCA/CPA/ICAEW is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 15 years experience in financial accounting, with at least 5 years of experience in the property development sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of development projects, HDA and strata management act requirements, and well-versed in MFRS.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial reports and provide valuable insights to management.
