    Job Descriptions

    The Senior Tax Lead assists the Director of Tax in managing tax risks in Asia region. Tax covers corporate tax, indirect tax, withholding tax and transfer pricing. Key responsibilities of Senior Tax Lead covers:
    • Review corporate tax return of entities in China, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan
    • Review year end closing/true-up of current and deferred tax schedules/balances for Group's tax reporting requirement
    • Handle enquiries from business units and other supporting functions regarding matters relating to direct, indirect tax and withholding tax.
    • Assist in direct, indirect tax, withholding and transfer pricing controversies / self-tax assessments
    • Monitor relevant tax legislation and development as well as implement such changes where relevant
    • Enhance tax awareness in the organization and perform in-house trainings of direct tax and indirect tax topics.
    • Handle other ad hoc assignments that may arise from time to time.
    • Prepare and collect transfer pricing documentations

    Requirement

    • Minimum 10 years' relevant experience on Singapore and Malaysia corporate tax and indirect tax (GST and SST)
    • Degree or relevant post-graduate/professional accounting qualifications recognized by ISCA
    • Possess passion, initiative, strong technical skills and an analytical mind
    • Being an Accredited Tax Professional with SIATP will be an advantage
    • Tech savvy with excellent Excel and Power Point skills, familiarity with SAP
