    An MNC client with projects in the commercial and industrial segment is seeking for a Business Development Manager to expand the Penang market.

    about the job
    You are to spearhead business expansion and sales initiatives for the company's solar-as-a-service solution in Malaysia, encompassing lead generation, proposal creation, negotiations, and securing contracts across various sectors.

    Your responsibilities includes but not limited to:

    1. To actively engage, and to convince customers about the advantages of the solutions
    2. To assist in company events and seminars targeting potential customers
    3. To attend exhibitions and/or events to network and cultivate leads
    4. To develop proposals for industrial and large commercial customers seeking long-term rooftop solar PV solutions
    5. To establish and maintain good relationship with key decision-makers or potential investors/ clients skills and requirements
    6. Diploma or degree holder in Business, Renewable or equivalent qualification
    7. 5 years of business development experience in the solar industry or similar field
    8. Indepent and able to work in the fast paced environment with good analytic/ negotiation skills
    9. Have understanding of Power Purchase Agreements (PPA)
    10. Willing to travel around how to apply
