Become part of our Global IT Large Projects Engineering team and contribute to the digital future of product development at Hilti. Develop and maintain together with international colleagues the engineering tool chain needed to successfully establish the Engineer-to-Order business at Hilti as part of our corporate strategy.

You will be located in our strategic IT office in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and you will be part of our international team.

What does the role involve

Our engineering tool chain for Large Projects business is centred around Autodesk Construction Cloud and Autodesk Revit amongst other tools like Aveva and internal Hilti tools. It helps our business units in developing individually engineered and innovative products that provide superior value to our customers. As an IT Business Analyst, you work within agile & cross-functional Global IT and business teams to define requirements as well as develop convincing solution scenarios within this tool chain. You plan, build, and run the IT solutions that are used to develop our innovative customer-specific offerings that will be used by our engineers, designers, and modelers around the globe. Your responsibility includes contribution to IT solution architectures and designs, custom development, and successful delivery of IT projects.
You ensure reliability, integrity, and long-term sustainability of our IT solutions. You closely collaborate with our vendors, provide 2nd/3rd level support as well as continuously improve features and integration between systems. This role requires a combination of a user-oriented mindset and solid implementation skills.

Why should you apply

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Chemical/Civil Engineering with passion about IT (proven records of IT experience)
Expertise in CAD tools and/or our engineering tool chain - Autodesk Revit, ACC and other CAD systems, BIM, or a related field
An end-to-end process understanding in the field of product engineering explicitly in an Engineer to Order environment
Willingness and proven ability to learn
Courage to challenge and desire to improve things
Strong communication skills (English is a must)
Related work experience 2-5 years or more is a plus
