    Randstad is partnering with a leading global marketing agency. They are looking for a regional finance controller (APAC) based in Malaysia to join their finance team.

    Responsibilities:

    Financial Reporting and Oversight:

  • Ensure timely and accurate management financial reporting across all markets.
  • Coordinate ad-hoc financial requests from global and regional finance.
  • Maintain financial controls in compliance with company and group policies.
  • Enhance planning processes and promote finance best practices throughout the region.
  • Monitor statutory compliance and strategic balance sheet management.
  • Analyze client profitability and prepare client P&L statements.
  • Maintain healthy working capital for the APAC region.
  • Assist the Regional Finance Director in remuneration calculations and intercompany recharges. Financial Planning:
  • Review and manage local market budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Support local finance teams in strategic planning to achieve revenue targets and profit margins. Operations:
  • Review monthly and quarterly KPIs of local finance teams to ensure compliance with targets.
  • Collaborate with local business and finance teams to address operational issues.
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage the career development of local Finance Managers/Directors.
  • Keep Regional Finance informed of local operational issues, risks, and opportunities.
  • Undertake other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Regional Finance Director.
  • Collaborate with the entire Finance team to establish a best-in-class function. Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in an advertising agency is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work accurately, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team player willing to adapt and learn within the role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • High standards of integrity, confidentiality, and discretion. about the manager/team
