- Responsible in updating the Management on assigned company to support the monthly and annual management and statutory financial reporting under MFRS and IFRS.
- Support in the delivery of insight and analysis regarding key areas of business performance.
- Support the provision of financial evaluations, inter-co transactions and balances, Group Chart of Accounts and SOP.
- Provide guidance to Accounts Team on the Financial Reporting Standards.
- Responsible to improve business processes, analyzing and reporting on all variances.
- Responsible for quarterly tax computation and annual AFS.
- Work closely with internal and external auditors on timely and compliance requirements.
- Cashflow management to ensure efficient use of funds, adequacy of working capital and foreign currency exposure, management of banking facilities (BG,BA,LC,OD, term loan, HP) capital efficiency management and control, capex financial management and financial strategies.
- Analyse the financial implications and ad hoc analysis from financial perspective for all commercial and operational decisions, investment appraisals on M&As and new business set up.
- Project Costing Management; Review each project by monthly basic to prevent cost over-run and undertaken, ensure cost and progress claim are taken up on timely basic, provision on defective parts and claims are properly carried out as per company guideline (5%).
- Liasion with external Company Secretary on all the Corporate Secretarial affairs of the Group.
- Corporate compliance work on Bursa Reporting, preparation of Annual Report and Circulars, Corporate exercises on Share Buyback, Bonus Issues, RRPT, land and properties acquisition and disposal, EGMs and AGM.
- Any other duties assigned from time to time by the Superior.
- Degree in Accounting, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- A proven track record with at least 5 years accounts related experiences and preferably with audit experience.
- Managing own work load to tight deadlines. Numerate, work quickly and accurately with high volumes of data.
- Able to multi task and work under pressure in a challenging and fast paced environment.
- Ability to develop and format procedures and work flow which accurately reflect the department's operations.
- Good analytical skills, meticulous, attention to detail and able to propose solutions based on logical thinking and business sense.
