    Description
    Job Responsibility

    • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize purchasing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
    • Source, negotiate, and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials and services.
    • Analyze market trends and industry developments to identify potential suppliers and opportunities for cost savings.
    • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure procurement activities align with project timelines and budgets.
    • Monitor inventory levels and manage inventory control processes to minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
    • Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular supplier reviews to maintain a high standard of quality and service.

    Job Requirements

    • At least a Diploma or bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or a related field.
    • Proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles, preferably in the construction industry will be advantages.
    • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
    • Can speak in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize competing demands.
    • Proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles, preferably in the construction industry, will be an advantage.
