    Job Responsibilities

    • Review and analyze financial products, services, and transactions to ensure compliance with Shariah principles.
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and rectify any potential non-compliance issues.
    • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on Shariah matters and ensure awareness of Islamic finance principles.
    • Prepare and maintain documentation related to Shariah compliance processes and decisions.
    • Generate regular reports for management, highlighting compliance status and recommending any necessary corrective actions.
    • Collaborate with different departments, including legal, risk management, and product development, to integrate Shariah principles into their processes.
    • Conduct training sessions for staff to enhance understanding and awareness of Islamic finance principles.
    • Stay updated on developments in Islamic finance and Shariah law, and assess their impact on the bank's operations.
    • Conduct research to support the bank in developing new Shariah-compliant products and services.
    • Address customer inquiries related to Shariah compliance, providing clear and concise explanations while maintaining a high level of customer service.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Islamic Finance, Shariah Law, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
    • Professional certifications in Islamic Finance and Shariah Compliance are highly desirable.
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role within the Islamic banking/ banking industry.
    • In-depth knowledge of Shariah principles and their application in financial services.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
