    Description

    Responsibilities:


    • Evaluate the selected subsidiary companies' monthly financial performance in terms of; Financial result (actual vs budget), Operational efficiency (including overhead management, inventory management and sales performance) and other quantitative and qualitative measurement (such as strategic initiatives, industry, market movement, benchmarks, key risks, insights and hindsight etc).


    • Prepare a timely high-quality concise report to the Senior Management Committee highlighting exceptions against the budget and key corrective actions.


    • Provide secretarial support for the Steering Committee. This involves all administrative arrangements, preparation of agenda, meeting papers and minutes, and follow-up actions after the meeting.


    • Manage and enhance relationships with relevant parties including members of the Senior Management Committee, Heads of Companies, CFOs and other Heads of Divisions within the Group and any other relevant persons or organisations.


    • Provide sound counsel and guidance to staff.


    • Promote development plans that would enhance staff productivity through motivation, coaching and other training programme.


    • Support ad-hoc duties as required.

    Requirements:


    • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree in Accounting. Preferably with Professional qualification.


    • Candidate with some background in equity research analysis/associate roles.


    • At least 7-15 years of auditing, accounting or finance related working experience. Preferably those with equity research experience.


    • Well experienced with accounting software(s).


    • Well verse with Tableau or other visual analytics / business intelligence software(s).


    • Good team player who is committed to achieve results.


    • Strong stakeholder management skills.
