    Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with group shared services team and finance business partners to ensure timely and accurate month/quarter/year end closing
    • Support Group Finance in Group consolidation
    • Work with other business units to ensure internal control policies and procedures are compliant with Group policies, International Financial Accounting Standards and generally accepted internal control best practices
    • Ensure proper record keeping and document trails for audit purposes and in compliance with regulatory requirements
    • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations and that preparation and filing of corporate tax, GST, financial statements, annual returns, etc are timely and accurate
    • Manage external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, government agencies, etc to ensure regulatory compliance
    • Identify improvement areas and improve on accounting best practices
    • Any ad hoc projects as necessary

    Requirements

    • Degree in Accountancy; CPA/CA or equivalent preferred
    • Minimum 2 years experience in MNC environment
    • Working knowledge in IFRS/SFRS, GST, Corporate Tax, Consolidation, Regulatory compliance
    • Working knowledge in financial reporting
    • Strong in communication
    • Ability to work under pressure and tight reporting deadline
    • Hands on experience in SAP, BW preferred
    • Advanced Excel skill
