    Description

    We are hiring a Cyber Security Engineer to work in our growing IT Security Team. You will protect IT infrastructure (including networks, system, hardware and software) from a range of cyber-criminal activities. You will monitor networks and systems, detect security threats, analyze and assess alarms, and report on threats, intrusion attempts and false alarms, resolving them or escalating them, depending on the severity.

    Skills and Qualifications

    1. 3-5 years of working experience in Information Security or related field
    2. Experience with computer network penetration testing and ethical hacking
    3. Knowledge of security across various platforms especially networks and/or server configuration and hardening
    4. Knowledge of Compliance Management such as ISO 27001:2022 would be an added advantage
    5. Minimum 3 years of working experience in Linux
    6. Domain, firewall, and networking experience on various operating systems especially Linux and Windows

    Responsibilities

    1. Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organizationâs data, systems, and networks
    2. Responding to all system and/or network security breaches
    3. Ensuring that the organizationâs data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls
    4. Participating in the change management process
    5. Identifying and hardening network and system vulnerabilities
    6. Daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with the relevant internal and external organization
    7. Evaluating the organizationâs security needs and establishing best practices and standards accordingly
    8. Eager to learn new technology and present technology updates to the team
    9. Innovate the network and system security team for the company
    10. Assisting the company in participating in developing proposals for any tenders/quotations
    11. Utilize the companyâs test environment for demo purposes
    12. Innovate and always eager to learn new things, especially in the network and system security area
