    Qoala is an innovative insurance start-up that is revolutionizing the insurance industry by leveraging technology. We are currently seeking a Business Development & Partnership Associate to join our team.

    In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and building strategic partnerships that will help drive growth for Qoala.

    As a Business Development & Partnership Associate, you will work closely with our leadership team to identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with our strategic objectives. You will also be responsible for building strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders to ensure that Qoala remains at the forefront of the insurance industry.

    Responsibilities

    • Work closely with the Key Accounts Manager & Head of Direct-to-Consumer and other internal teams as the main point of contact in all matters relating to our insurer partners' concerns and needs
    • Conducting market research and identifying potential clients and new business opportunities
    • Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required.
    • Cultivating strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
    • Assist in administrative matters pertaining to partnership onboarding to the Qoala ecosystem i.e. registration, documentation and billings etc.
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
    • Have deep understanding of insurer partners' product offerings and their contribution to overall commercials.
    • Generate progress reports to share with insurer partners and higher-ups within the organization.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute partnership initiatives.
    • Evaluate and prioritize potential partnerships based on strategic fit and impact on Qoala's growth objectives.
    • Monitor and track performance metrics for partnership initiatives.
    • Participate in industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date on insurance trends and identify new partnership opportunities.

    Requirements

    • Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients
    • Have at least 1 year experience in B2B / B2B2C Partnerships, Business Development roles/ or preferably in the insurance industry.
    • Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, or related field.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
    • Strong organization and project management skills.
    • Sociable / Extrovert / Ambivert
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate potential partnerships based on strategic fit and impact on growth objectives.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
    • Detail-oriented mindset and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
    • Passion for innovation and technology in the insurance industry.
