    Description

    Purpose of the job:

  • Create and manage the GAS Division database on industry profile.
  • Perform thorough market research to help identify new business opportunities and comprehensive competitor analysis.
  • Responsible of the overall management of the GAS Division Stakeholder Engagement Plan.

    • Principal accountabilities:

    Market Research

    Collate, develop and manage a comprehensive LNG, oil and gas, energy and shipping researchdatabase including market drivers, business opportunities, benchmarking, competitors' analysis andtechnology development.

    Synthesize and analyse data by performing SWOT, PEST, Porter's 5 Forces, Benchmarking andCompetitor Analysis for development of LNG Business' External Environment Analysis (EEA).

    Gather relevant information required / undertake specific research for the purpose of examiningcritically the current business environment and business process with a view to instituteappropriate changes for a more effective business function.

    Stakeholder and Broker Management

    Manage the LNGBU stakeholders' engagement plan.

    Facilitate in organising identified events.

    Qualifications:-

    Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Accountancy, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, orequivalent.
  • Masters' Degree in Science (MSc) or Business Administration (MBA) or any related professionalqualification is an additional advantage.

    • Experiences:

  • At least years of relevant working experience in market research/intelligence in corporate planning/ business development department in the oil and gas industry.
  • Technical knowledge of LNG operations or business development is an advantage.
  • Experience in organizing events.
  • Experience in handling tender documents (other document management can be considered).
  • Have a positive attitude, meticulous, multi-tasking, resourceful, and ready to take on new challenges.
  • Good command in English (both written and spoken).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) plus Nuance Power PDF. Having basic video/photo editing and database management skills is an added advantage.
