    Description

    Purpose of the Position

    The account executive will be handling all matters relating to staff and external claims, accounts payable and general ledger for Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) and the Group

    Main Duties/Responsibilities
    Duties include but will not be limited to the following:

    • Process all claim and payment request from operations and settlement of accounts with various local & overseas vendors/ suppliers/ agents in a timely manner
    • To ensure accurate and timely posting of entries into the accounting system Financial Force i.e. recurring and payments
    • To liaise with vendors / suppliers and operations on invoice disputes and to reconcile problem within an acceptable time frame
    • To ensure that proper supporting documents and records are kept
    • Assist in month end closing and management reporting
    • To ensure bank reconciliations are completed for each month end
    • To prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation schedules, intercompany reconciliations and profit & loss expense analysis
    • Manage on all queries relate to suppliers invoices
    • Backup other colleagues during their absence for accounts payable and general ledger matters

    Position Requirements

    • University degree in accounting and finance
    • At least 3 - 4 years experience in audit & accounting or finance functions
    • Preferably with relevant experience in using Financial Force accounting software
    • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in dealing with regional stakeholders and/or working in non-profit organisations
    • Is familiar with all F&A functional processes and activities
    • Strong technical accounting skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication
    • Fluent in English and Malay
    • Proficiency in Google Workspace (G Suite), and Office 365 including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Ability to prioritise
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and interact with different stakeholders
    • High integrity and a good team player
    • Resourceful team-player, with the ability to be effective independently;
    • Goal oriented and organized
    • Self-motivated and the ability to perform multi-tasking

    Remuneration: RM3,000 - RM4,200
