    Job Description

  • Handle full set of company accounts, assisted by junior staff, and ensure month-end closing activities are carried out within the given timeframe
  • Oversee, and handle hands-on, the daily accounting functions of the Company, when required.
  • Carry out Treasury functions to ensure sufficient funds for settlement to the Merchants
  • Submit Quarterly & Annual Reporting to Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM)
  • Prepare Annual Financial Statements in accordance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS)
  • In charge of the audit and taxation matters of the Company
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and other regulatory requirements including accounting, tax, legal and secretarial duties
  • Preparation of Annual Budget Forecast to the Management, and HQ based in Singapore
  • Preparation of Payroll, and submission of Payroll records to Statutory Bodies ( EPF, SOCSO EIS, PCB)
  • Lead the Finance team by providing guidance, training, and setting up KPIs.
  • Liaise with other departments on any matters arising from daily operations, such as issues encountered during bank reconciliations, or incorrect input of data in the Company's Portal
  • Work closely with other departments on new projects such as rolling out of new payment channels, or change of payment gateway facilitator
  • Preparation of ad-hoc reports required by Management or HQ
  • Assist Senior Group Finance Manager (based in SG) on ad-hoc duties or responsibilities arise

    • Qualifications

  • Qualified professional license (ACCA,CPA,CIMA,ICAEW,MIA)
  • Having experience in payment gateway industry, or fintech is a plus
  • Having exposure to ERP software, e.g., Oracle Netsuite, is a plus
