    Key Responsibilities

    Test Strategy and Planning:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and schedules for banking application testing.
    • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and development teams to align testing activities with project timelines.

    Test Leadership

    • Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance on testing best practices and methodologies.
    • Coordinate and distribute testing tasks based on team members' strengths and project requirements.

    Test Design And Execution

    • Design and execute test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.
    • Oversee and participate in the execution of test scripts, ensuring thorough coverage of application features.

    Test Automation

    • Drive the implementation and enhancement of test automation frameworks.
    • Collaborate with automation engineers to automate repetitive and critical test scenarios.

    Defect Management

    • Manage the defect lifecycle, from identification and logging to resolution and verification.
    • Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and address critical issues.

    Performance Testing

    • Plan and execute performance testing to assess the scalability and reliability of banking applications.
    • Analyze performance test results and recommend optimizations as needed.

    Continuous Improvement

    • Identify opportunities for process improvements in testing methodologies and tools.
    • Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.

    Reporting And Documentation

    • Prepare and communicate test progress reports to project stakeholders.
    • Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Lead Tester or in a similar testing leadership role within the banking industry.
    • In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
    • Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
