    Internship - Security Operation Analyst

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Security Incident Monitoring: Assist in monitoring security alerts and events using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools.
  • Incident Triage: Work with the team to assess and prioritize security incidents based on severity and impact.
  • Investigation and Analysis: Conduct initial analysis of security incidents, gather relevant information, and escalate as needed.
  • Vulnerability Management: Assist in scanning and assessing systems for vulnerabilities, and contribute to the prioritization of remediation efforts.
  • Security Awareness Training: Contribute to the development and delivery of security awareness training for employees.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of security processes, incidents, and procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the Security Operations team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security concerns.
  • Security Tool Management: Assist in the administration and management of security tools and technologies.
  • Research: Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.

    • Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in [Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field].
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication especially in English and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Preferred Softskills and Technical knowledge:
  • Familiarity with Security tools.
  • Basic knowledge of networking and operating systems.
  • Exposure to common cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Relevant coursework or certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), etc.) is a plus.
  • Good hands-on skills, and excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Passion for technology, able to work collaboratively with others.
  • Good personality, positive mindset, and independence. Fluent English skills (written and spoken).
  • Duration of internship period 4 to 6 months (depends on University Requirement)
  • Willing to intern in Cyberjaya, Selangor
  • Strong English language – Written and Verbal and experience in international collaboration.
