    Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for daily operations, month-end and year-end closing process.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports, especially Head Office reporting (J-GAAP, US-GAAP and Management reporting) and support BNM Statistical Reporting and perform variance analysis.
  • Handle enquiries from other departments and information request from Head Office.
  • Participate in advisory, company initiatives and working groups that relates to the finance function.
  • Maintain good internal control and ensure effectiveness in financial reporting.
  • Periodic review of workflow process with a view to improve turnaround and productivity.
  • Keep abreast of accounting standards, policies and ensure compliance with Group accounting policies and relevant standards, guidelines, and procedures.

    • Requirements:

  • Applicant must have a recognized Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or its equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution with professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CPA, etc).
  • Minimum 2 year of relevant working experience, preferably in audit and/or banking industry.
  • Strong PC skill in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, MS Access, Power Point).
  • A good team player who is meticulous, detail oriented and pro-active.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting, MFRS and banking regulation.
  • Good stakeholder management skills.
