    Description

    ROLE

    Financial Reporting

    · Work with Finance Manager to close and finalise management and statutory accounts.

    · Liaise with auditors, tax agents and company secretary for all matters relating to annual statutory audit and tax returns.

    · Ad-hoc requests to extract data and present information in various forms such as reports or presentation slides.

    ERP System

    · Key user and main point-of-contact for staff across all modules (Sales Orders, Shipments, Purchase Orders, Bill of Materials, Customer/Vendors, Journals, Cash Transactions, Inventory, etc).

    · Communicate with other users and assist them in the usage of ERP system.

    · Liaise with external vendors on version upgrades and system enhancements if needed.

    Financial Module

    · Maintain and ensure accuracy of financial data through reconciliation to external sources and reports.

    · Identify and rectify any inconsistencies detected in financial postings, system data and propose improvements to existing workflow.

    · Close all financial modules in system on monthly basis and present monthly profit & loss to management, including commentary on variances.

    · Assist with any troubleshooting or inquiries on system usage by other users.

    Manufacturing/Inventory Module

    · Periodically monitor overhead/labour rates and recalculate standard rates regularly to minimise cost variances.

    · Perform final checks and release of entries for manufacturing and inventory modules.

    · Review manufacturing entries/BOMs to ensure the accuracy of stock item costing, and perform adjusting entries if necessary.

    · Monitor and reconcile system inventory availability to factory stock lists.

    · Maintain item prices and costing data.

    Others

    · Approve payment vouchers as second-level approver by checking to other supporting documentation.

    · Perform credit checks on customers and propose appropriate credit limits after assessing their financial position.

    · Close financial accounts for two semi-active retail entities on quarterly and yearly basis for annual audit and SG GST filing.

    · Prepare outgoing payments and circulate weekly debtors aging for the above two retail entities.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    · Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar/higher qualifications (eg. ACCA, ICAEW)

    · 4-6 years working experience

    · Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, data analysis, sanitisation) is recommended

    · Experience in full-set or manufacturing/cost accounting is a plus

    · Experience in ERP systems is a plus

    · Able to speak Hokkien is a plus
